The End of Secret Ballots?

Posted by Josh on May 20, 2008

I’ve often wondered where the logic is for banning secret ballots in union elections. Obama and the other socialists in the Democrat Party have long fought for the unionization of America. While unions have done some good in protecting workers, many times they do more harm than good (just ask Detroit). Getting rid of secret ballots just gives unions more power while harming the workers they’re supposed to protect. Read Dr. John Lott’s new op-ed about unions and secret balloting. He does a much better job explaining.

Democrats accuse Republicans of favoring “Big Oil,” “Big Tobacco,” and “Big Pharmaceutical,” but why doesn’t the Mainstream Media ever refer to the Democrats love of “Big Union”?

Not to take anything away from Clinton’s blowout victory and I hate to state the obvious, but it’s really only a matter of time before Obama is officially the nominee. I would say that the Clinton era is finally over, but I don’t have any wood to knock on. They’ll find their way back into the forefront one way or another, trust me. Just like all addicts find a way to satisfy their cravings, power-addicts like Bill and Hillary will find a way to quench their thirst one way or another.

The scariest part about this whole fiasco is this: we’ve been told countless times of the brilliance of the Clintons, how incredible they are at this political game, and how great they are at campaign strategy. They are so good and so ruthless that their campaigns have been compared to a machine that is simply unbeatable. Yet, the unbeatable Clinton Campaign Machine has been defeated. So what does that tell us? Either their ability as politicians has been grossly over-exaggerated or Obama is a force to be reckoned with. Hope you’re ready, Maverick. This is going to be a long fight (that is, if you’ll even fight).

More on this later
